Do ensure that you sit down and raise using your legs. Be sure your feet are shoulder-witch away or close to it and one foot is slightly ahead of the other but without compromising the central point of balance. Make sure that the object you’re lifting is near to you, as whenever you keep the object far from your body you’re placing unnecessary stress onto your lower back. Make sure to have an employee or a co-worker to help you when lifting an object that is heavy, too.
It is important to do not bend over when lifting the object, and do not lift it by bending your back. If you are putting your feet close to each other, you lose your balance and also your centre of gravity. So make sure to maintain your feet spread out. Avoid lifting large objects on your own.
